2022 Exploring Transitions Demo Set

In this video set, we will set up and experiment with transitions in gait, tempo, direction, and shape on the ground as well as in riding. We will explore how we can layer transitions to teach our horse the next step of an exercise and also how using transitions can free up and shape the physical quality we are looking for in our horse's way of moving. Disclaimer: This video set contains some approaches in training that I have grown out of and either no longer use or have evolved into a different way of applying them. It doesn’t mean the approach and advice in these videos are wrong, but my own experience and learning have added new concepts and tools to my toolbox, which I prefer to use now.
